SCEI are still screwing over their local multiplayers

psp_psn

A long time ago, I used to hate it when 360 used to discuss about achievements and how they would buy mediocre games just to get more points but now that the PLAYSTATION3 has trophies, I have now got suckered into this new trend of achievements/trophies and enjoy the reward of completing a certain requirement.

However, there is one tiny problem for the PS3 system which the Xbox 360 has no problem whatsoever. On the Xbox 360, you and your friends can get achievements together despite the number of Xbox Live users are logged in locally on one console. The PS3 however only allows one user to log in at once so if you happen to be on the trophy hunt with my friends, only one of them is going to be happy whilst everyone else is left with no rewards.

I complained about only one PSN username logging into the console when Warhawk was released in August 2007 and my brother who has a PSN account wanted to be ranked on stats but can only play on his own or as a guest account of the main PSN user for example rockmanjoey(2). This is quite a shame as Sony have worked hard to get the PlayStation Network where it is right now and one small thing hasn’t been addressed yet for the local players which is to able to log into the PSN with multiple accounts.

However, it could be quite complex to fix but I would like to see it happen. LittleBigPlanet has some idea what I want but the other local players still don’t get trophies nor they are signed in. So I ask SCEI, please sort this out! Please!

LittleBigPlanet for under £20 on Amazon!

LittleBigPlanet is one of the best games I have played all year and it’s lived up to my expectations! If you have a PLAYSTATION3 and still haven’t picked this up yet, I ask

“What the hell are you waiting for!?”

)

For under £20!? BUY IT! :)

Anyway, it has come to my attention that Amazon are selling the game for £19.70 [at time of posting news] so if you want a triple A title for the price of a Platinum game with a lot of replay value, look no further and purchase LittleBigPlanet!

You can buy it from here!

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Soundtrack OUT NOW!

The game has finally been released at long last and now the guys responsible for the soundtrack at OverClocked Remix have released the Soundtrack to the game and it’s available to download for FREE!

cover-front

The soundtrack for this game is fantastic and really brings back the memories of the Street Fighter tunes of yesteryear. It is available in the flac and MP3 formats. The FLAC format is much better quality than MP3 and it is the first time I have ever downloaded a flac album and I have to say, it blows MP3 out of the water!

You can download it from here Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Official Soundtrack download [bittorrent]

LOL: Final Fantasy XIII coming to Xbox 360

A friend of mine linked me this hilarious video of Mega64. It is in regards to Square Enix announcing Final Fantasy XIII for the Xbox 360 in English Speaking territories.

Enjoy!

Once again, another PSN hit is delayed (In Europe)

A reoccurring story for the PlayStation Network users of Europe. Whilst Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is out today in America for the PSN, it won’t be coming to the PSN for Europe this week as a Capcom Rep has informed Edge that it has been delayed.

Sony Europe seriously need to get their ass in gear. They are defenetely losing ground in Europe to Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and I believe this is one of the reasons why. Super Street Fighter II HD Remix is out on Xbox Live tomorrow thanks to their certification system which involves submitting the game once for certification which represents the world whilst the PlayStation Network has it’s different certification process for every region which varies between different regions.

Sony Computer Entertainment have said that they are in the process of having a centralised certification process for all downloadable content much like Xbox Live. This is needed big time as the European Store is well known for getting negative feedback from it’s users due to the delays it sees and lack of content.

Well, in regards to HD Remix, I shall be okay as I am buying it tonight via my American PSN Account which has given me a huge smile on my face.

Best console boot ever (well technically Development Kit!)

I wish this intro has been on the Dreamcast Home Console! Enjoy!

Who has got a Home Beta code? I do!

Thats right! I am in!!

That's right! I am in!!

Following my recent role in getting betas for LittleBigPlanet, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Resistance 2 and Warhawk, Sony Computer Entertainment have sent to my Japanese PlayStation Network Account two keys for the PlayStation Home beta now that is has reached v1.0

That’s right! TWO KEYS! How generous! haha! One key is for PlayStation Home and I’ve discovered that the other key is for Namco Museum which is available in the Japanese Beta for PlayStation Home.

I am going to check in two weeks when I go back home [that's residential home] to check PlayStation Home out so I look forward to seeing what the fuss is with this application is! Expect a hands on soon!

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Release Date CONFIRMED!

Following Microsoft’s annoucement of a Street Fighter Branded store for their new Xbox Experience, the following screenshot found on NeoGaf has confirmed to the gaming public at long last a release date for Super Street Fighter II HD Remix

)

Hooray! November 26th (well 27th for PS3!) :)

Now that a release date is known, I can finally prepare to kick some ass on Super Street Fighter II HD Remix although there still isn’t a price. I have money ready and waiting. I just want to rip Bison’s heart out in HD because he is a filthy bastard but I learnt he doesn’t have one[Anime Movie Reference].

If you wish to play me on the PLAYSTATION Network when this is up, rockmanjoey is my PSN ID.

The Street Fighter IV Boxart of win

Today thanks to the lovely internet, Capcom have revealed the boxart for the Japanese Version of Street Fighter IV and I have to say, it rocks. It is thousand times better than the PAL and American boxart and has simply made my decision of importing the game a lot easier!

YOU WIN......PERFECT

YOU WIN......PERFECT

Xbox 360 boxart

Xbox 360 boxart

The Xbox 360 version in Japan has the same cover but what is very clear is that it is much better than the overseas boxart.

Sorry, this boxart is inferior!

Sorry, this boxart is inferior!

My only concern now being that the game is region locked in terms of online play. If not, I shall see you on the PSN kicking ass!! I shall be getting Super Street Fighter II HD Remix when its released! Feel free to add me on PSN. My PSN ID is rockmanjoey.

Boxing Tonight

The Game Boy was one of my first gaming devices I personally owned and I got it for my 8th Birthday I think. Anyway, this music video brings back the memories of the tunes the Game Boy pumped out of its speakers. Enjoy!
