A long time ago, I used to hate it when 360 used to discuss about achievements and how they would buy mediocre games just to get more points but now that the PLAYSTATION3 has trophies, I have now got suckered into this new trend of achievements/trophies and enjoy the reward of completing a certain requirement.
However, there is one tiny problem for the PS3 system which the Xbox 360 has no problem whatsoever. On the Xbox 360, you and your friends can get achievements together despite the number of Xbox Live users are logged in locally on one console. The PS3 however only allows one user to log in at once so if you happen to be on the trophy hunt with my friends, only one of them is going to be happy whilst everyone else is left with no rewards.
I complained about only one PSN username logging into the console when Warhawk was released in August 2007 and my brother who has a PSN account wanted to be ranked on stats but can only play on his own or as a guest account of the main PSN user for example rockmanjoey(2). This is quite a shame as Sony have worked hard to get the PlayStation Network where it is right now and one small thing hasn’t been addressed yet for the local players which is to able to log into the PSN with multiple accounts.
However, it could be quite complex to fix but I would like to see it happen. LittleBigPlanet has some idea what I want but the other local players still don’t get trophies nor they are signed in. So I ask SCEI, please sort this out! Please!
